SWING RIOTS AND BOSSENDEN RISING FESTIVAL

Organised by the Bossenden Wood Memorial Group

Almost 400 people gathered in the lovely grounds of Mount Ephraim near Boughton on Sunday, 31st May, the 188th anniversary of the Battle of Bossenden Wood, for the Swing Riots and Bossenden Rising Festival. It was a lovely sunny day. There were talks, bands, craft and food stalls and children’s activities. The festival was a great success and it is hoped that it will become an annual event.
